Vitiligo Voices Canada

The first nationwide support group for Canadians with vitiligo. Co-founded by patients, VVC offers a safe space to share experiences, build community, and access resources. Through advocacy, education, and peer support, VVC raises awareness and pushes for better care.

They host monthly drop-ins, a supportive Facebook group, and an Instagram page with events and infographics.

VITSAF

The Vitiligo Research (VR) Foundation is a non-profit on a mission to cure vitiligo and end the suffering it causes for millions around the world.

We’re here to drive change through research, compassionate care, and education — with a firm belief that science should serve people, not just papers.

VIPOC

VIPOC (Vitiligo International Patient Organizations Committee) is a global alliance uniting vitiligo patient groups to amplify their voices and improve lives. Founded in 2018 and based in Paris, VIPOC advocates for better care, raises awareness, and collaborates on research and new treatments.

The group hosts international conferences, publishes resources like the Vitiligo White Paper, and works to influence policy and patient support worldwide.

Lit4Vit

A friendly grassroots campaign that lights up landmarks in purple each June 25th for World Vitiligo Day—raising awareness and starting meaningful conversations about vitiligo. L

ed by VITFriends and passionate local advocates, we’ve brightened over 60 landmarks, including Niagara Falls and the Prudential Tower. Participate by lighting up a landmark in your area and post it on social media using the #Lit4Vit!

VITSAF

VITSAF is a leading Nigerian non-profit dedicated to improving the quality of life for people living with vitiligo. Through support, advocacy, and awareness programs, VITSAF empowers individuals to embrace their unique beauty and challenges stigma surrounding vitiligo in Africa.

The foundation offers workshops, educational resources, and community events-such as body positivity workshops and documentaries-to promote self-acceptance, dignity, and social inclusion. VITSAF envisions a world where everyone with vitiligo enjoys equal rights, health, and participation in society.

LICDA Africa

The Vitiligo Project, an initiative by LICDA Africa, is dedicated to raising awareness and supporting people living with vitiligo across the African continent. Through education, advocacy, and community outreach, the project aims to challenge stigma, promote inclusion, and empower those affected by vitiligo.

By sharing real stories and providing resources, The Vitiligo Project fosters understanding and helps build a supportive network for individuals and families impacted by the condition.
